NJIT Director of Pre-Health Programs, Pre-Health Advisor

I am a cell biologist utilizing a neuronal model from the Peripheral Nervous System. My doctoral dissertation work dealt with the role of E-cadherin, a cell adhesion molecule localized on the Schwann cell plasma membrane, and its function in regulating myelination. Currently, I am the NJIT University Pre-Health Advisor, helping undergraduate students matriculate into various health professional programs; additionally I'm a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences, where I have taught courses in Neuropathology, Neurobiology and Mammalian Physiology.
