Tolu Lanrewaju

 

Tolu Lanrewaju previously served as the Newark Workforce Development Board’s Workforce Innovation Fund Manager. Before that, Tolu worked as a consultant at TEAM Charter Schools for the USDE-funded Project Share and as TEAM’s Foundation and Government Reporting Specialist. Tolu’s experience includes the writing and management of over ten million dollars in grant funding. Tolu completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University (A.B., Anthropology), received her Master's of Public Health from Rutgers University, and is a graduate of Leadership Newark and Princeton AlumniCorps' Emerging Leaders Program for nonprofit professionals. Tolu is a proud native of Newark, NJ and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Tolu is in her first year of the Global Urban Studies PhD program. Her research interests include innovation in public policy, millennial integration, and economic development.
