Profile: Theresa Hunt

Faculty

Theresa Hunt is a University Lecturer with the Humanities and Social Sciences department at New Jersey Institute of Technology and Part-Time Lecturer of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. She holds an MA in English and Education, and is a doctoral candidate in the Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers University. She has served as program coordinator for NJIT’s ADVANCE program, a 3 year, National Science Foundation-funded grant aimed at advancing women in science and technology.

Her research interests include gender and technology in global development, equitable global diffusion of information and communications technologies, and new-media movements in transnational feminism.
