Melissa Valle, Professor of Sociology and African American and African Studies, will be presenting at Rutgers' national academic conference, “Framing the Value of Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education: Setting the Research Agenda.”  She will be on Professor Edward Ramsamy's panel focused on international topics. Melissa Valle, Professor of Sociology and African American and African Studies, will be presenting at the Division of Global Affairs (DGA) Fall 2017 Speaker Series.

The DGA Speaker Series consists of talks held before graduate students and faculty on topics covering a wide range of issues related to global affairs. Speakers usually deliver their presentations for about 30-45 minutes followed by audience engagement and Q&A. This semester, the theme is Global Development, and the sessions take place every Wednesday from 11.00am to 12.30pm.

Professor Valle's session will be held in SPAA 309 on November 1st from 11.00am-12.30pm.
