BA/DMD Program (RSDM-NB)

All students who wish to apply to this program must be sophomores at the Rutgers New Brunswick campus. Rutgers-Newark students interested in the program must transfer to RU New Brunswick, be matriculated in the School of Arts and Sciences, New Brunswick for at least two semesters and have completed a minimum of 30 credits in SAS by the end of their sophomore year, in addition to the requirements below.

Admission requirements: For the initial phase of the program students must be matriculated and in the fourth semester at SAS Rutgers, New Brunswick (or have earned a minimum of 30 credits at SAS Rutgers, New Brunswick). Application should be made in  May. Decisions are made by July 30. To apply for the program, applicants must have completed one term of College English (3 credits), Calculus I and II (or Calculus I and Statistics 960:379 or 401), General Biology 01:119:115, 116, and 117 (10 credits), General Chemistry 01:160:161, 162, and 171 (9 credits), and Organic Chemistry 01:160:307, 308 (8 credits) with a cumulative science and overall grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Note: Students must take the DAT before matriculating and score competitively on the test.
