Rutgers Day is a free, family-friendly event in which Rutgers showcases its academics, student life, and programs for thousands of visitors in New Jersey and beyond through activities, demonstrations, exhibits, and performances. Previously exclusive to Rutgers University–New Brunswick, the festivities have extended to Rutgers University–Newark (RU-N) and Rutgers University– Camden in recognition of Rutgers’ 250th anniversary. At RU–N, programs will be located in the Norman Samuels Plaza with vendors located in the New Street Plaza.

As an alumna/us of the program in African American and African Studies at Rutgers University – Newark, we would like to include you on our Alumni Corner. The Alumni Corner is a new initiative to help keep alumni connected to our afam community. Alumni will be featured on a dedicated page on the afam website, afam.rutgers.edu, and in our e-newsletters. Over time, we hope that the Alumni Corner webpage will become a hub where afam graduates can get in touch with old friends and classmates, share stories and memories, and connect on common interests.
