Lenore Pearson

Lenore Pearson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Syracuse University and graduated Pi Alpha Alpha with an MPA in Public Administration from Rutgers University, School of Public Affairs and Administration. Her doctoral research focuses on education, health and opportunity youth in urban communities.

As Associate Director, Lenore is responsible for aligning faculty with community organizations in the city of Newark.  She is also tasked with partnering internship opportunities with schools and community based organizations at Rutgers Newark. Lenore works with community based scholars at Rutgers Newark, promoting growth through education. She was also instrumental in securing the CCAMPIS (Child Care Access Means Parents In School) grant for $308,000 over a four-year period to help offset the child care costs for student parents.
