Laura Troiano joined the Institute on Ethnicity, Culture, and the Modern Experience at Rutgers University - Newark in March of 2008.  Her research interests include narrative and public history, sports, particularly baseball, and the history of Newark.  Laura is currently ABD in the Rutgers University - Newark American Studies Doctoral Program.
