Inversion of the early datasets for an image of the subsurface resistivity distribution over the oil contamination reveals a high resistivity anomaly near the surface coincidental with the contaminated layer based on physical observations.

Results of a resistivity inversion for data acquired in early January 2011 showing a resistive upper layer coincidental with the known oil contamination.

Ratio resistivity inversions for selected datasets during the 2011 monitoring period showing a long-term, continuous decrease in resistivity within the region of oil contamination.
