Psi Chi is an alliance of chapters located in more than 1000 senior colleges and universities in the USA. Membership is granted to those involved in graduate or undergraduate studies and have made psychology their major area of concentration. Psi Chi has two important objectives. One of these is to reward each member with academic recognition; this is received just by being inducted. The second objective is to aid each member in the maturing of his or her creative development and accomplishments. As a result of dedication and hard work many Psi Chi members have moved on to distinguished careers in psychology.
