Faculty advisors are not assigned to students. This offers students the flexibility to seek advisement from the professor of their choice. Every term a list of faculty office hours is made available in the main office. To get the most out of your visit, you should bring a copy of your current transcript, major/minor worksheet, and identify any questions/concerns that you want to discuss prior to your meeting.
For the current advisement schedule, visit the Department Office, Conklin 323, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 973-353-5410.
Remember that academic advising is invaluable to reaching your goal of graduation. Your academic advisor is someone who can help you monitor your academic progress; provide information in designing, developing, and implementing individual academic plans; provide you with letters of reference when you are applying for graduate programs or looking for employment; and link you to resources in getting connected on campus and in the community.
