The Department of Economics is one of the core social science departments within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Newark at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.  Our offices are located on the 8th floor of Hill Hall at 360 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in the University Heights section of Newark, New Jersey.

The department offers both a major and minor in economics leading towards the BA degree.  We also maintain an MA program in economics and an accelerated 5-year BA/MA program.

Department Chairperson 

Professor John W. Graham has been the department chairperson since 2003.  His office is 801 Hill Hall.

Administrative Staff

Mrs Johnson is the department administrator.  Her office is 803 Hill.
