Ryan J. Sylvester received his MS in Global Affairs with a focus on International Law and Conflict Resolution from New York University's Center for Global Affairs in 2007 and is currently a law student at Fordham School of Law. His interests center on international legal issues surrounding human rights. He is currently participating in the International Human Rights Clinic at Fordham and is working on a human rights project involving Sierra Leone. He is a member of Fordham's Journal of International Law and also serves as a research assistant for a professor who specializes in international humanitarian law. In the past he has interned with a U.S. Federal District Court Judge, the U.S. Department of State, and the Sierra Leone Mission to the United Nations in New York. He also holds a MS in Educational Leadership and a BS in Mass Communication from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
