Once again, the Rutgers University–Newark Fed Challenge team has done the campus proud.

For the eighth time in nine years, the team reached the semi-finals of the New York District competition of the College Fed Challenge, losing a close round to a team from Columbia University.

Rutgers-Newark Economics Professor Peter Loeb has been a member of the NCAS faculty since 1973. A specialist in applied econometrics and transportation safety, he has testified before the New Jersey state legislature and U.S. Congress on some of the most pressing transportation-safety issues of our time, including car inspections, seatbelt use, and the influence of alcohol and cell-phone use on drivers.

NCAS Alumni Prepare Fed Challenge Team for Second Consecutive Year

The Rutgers-Newark Fed Challenge team, fresh off a 2nd-place finish at the national competition last year, has a new line-up that is eager to continue the winning legacy.

And just like last year, Rutgers-Newark alumni are stepping in to help prepare the team.
