Application Period Is Open for the 2014 Dean's Summer Undergraduate Fellowship

We are pleased to announce that the FASN Dean's Office is once again funding competitive summer research fellowships to support undergraduate scholarly activities during the summer months.

Over the past several years, these fellowships have supported outstanding undergraduates from across a range of disciplines. We anticipate being able to support seven students again this summer.

All current, full-time students enrolled in NCAS or UCN are eligible to apply for the Summer 2014 fellowship, with the exception of seniors graduating in May. Students must be working under the direct supervision of a full-time FASN faculty member to be considered. Each fellowship will be in the amount of $3,000 paid directly to the student. Every application requires both a student letter of application and a faculty letter of support.

Completed applications for Summer 2014 are due to the Dean's Office no later than Friday, April 4, 2014.

Detailed instructions for submitting applications are attached. Please encourage qualified students to apply.  If you have any questions or need additional information, do not hesitate to contact Associate Dean Gretchen Van de Walle at
