ACS travel award for Ying Zhu

Congratulations to PhD student Ying Zhu, who is one of three students nationwide to receive a travel grant from the Geochemistry Division of the American Chemical Society for her abstract submitted to attend the 249th ACS meeting in Denver, Colorado in March 2015. The award is made based on the impacts of results on the field of geochemistry, technical approach, and the quality and clarity of writing. Awardees receive an extended time allocation for their oral presentation. The title of her talk is:
“Co-sorption of Fe(II) with As(III) and As(V) at the solid-water interface of aluminum oxide”.
